Collagen Type I

Probably the most abundant in the body. It is a type of collagen that contributes to skin, bone, tendon, blood vessels, cartilage fibers, connective tissue and tooth structure. Along with type 3, it is an important component of skin and nail health.

Collagen Type II

A type of collagen found in protein fibers in the body, plays an important role in maintaining the elasticity of tissues. Collagen type 2 is found in elastic cartilage, joint cushion, and eyes.

Collagen Type III

Collagen is closely related to type 1 and is mainly found in the lining of the skin, stomach, muscles and blood vessels.

Hyaluronic Acid

Its role in the human body is mostly based on development, improvement and maintenance. Since it is found in tissues, it maintains the elasticity of the skin, maintains it in a stable condition and takes care of the formation of collagen fibers; because the lack of these fibers negatively affects the elasticity of the skin. It is also known as sperm acid. It allows the sperm to attach to the egg. This is where hyal-uronic acid gets its name.

Hyaluronic acid is used in the treatment of degenerative joint disease (osteoarthritis) in medicine, it has been determined as an indication for the treatment of severe joint pain caused by the disease.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C or ascorbic acid, a water-soluble vitamin with many functions. Most animals and plants can produce their own vitamin C from glucose. Since people cannot produce vitamin C, they have to get it from food.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is an essential nutrient for humans. Vitamin C has many functions, from the production of collagen, which gives most tissues of the body their strength, to the functioning of red blood cells. Lack of ascorbate in the diet leads to scurvy. This disease manifests itself in the form of weakness, easily bleeding gums, small subcutaneous hemorrhages that cause bruises on the skin, curling of the hair, hyperkeratosis, joint pain, shortness of breath, and lethargy. An important early symptom of vitamin C deficiency is fatigue.

Vitamini D

Vitamin D is also known as calciferol. It is one of the fat-soluble vitamins. It is necessary for the use and absorption of calcium and phosphorus in the digestive tract and for growth, especially in children.

It protects the body against muscle weakness, is effective in regulating the heartbeat, strengthens the immune system, is necessary for thyroid functions and normal blood coagulation. Vitamin D increases calcium absorption from the digestive tract and helps calcium deposition in the bones. Vitamin D increases calcium absorption and active transport of calcium by accelerating it. It increases the formation of calcium-binding proteins that aid calcium absorption in epithelial cells, especially in intestinal tissues. It is taken into the body in the form of Provitamin-D through food. It turns into vitamin D in the skin under the influence of sunlight. This vitamin is necessary for the absorption of calcium and phosphorus in the intestine and their use in the body. Strong bones and teeth are formed by the placement of calcium by this vitamin.

Vitamini E

Vitamin E is an important fat-soluble antioxidant and has important antioxidant functions, especially in cell membranes and lipoproteins.

Vitamin E is important for the functions of the nervous system, muscles, endocrine glands such as the pituitary and adrenals, and reproductive organs. Vitamin E is a biological antioxidant and is necessary for the prevention of arterial diseases and cancer.

It reduces high blood pressure, prevents cataracts, improves athletic performance, relieves leg cramps, strengthens capillary walls while building healthy nerves and muscles. It is also necessary for a healthy skin and complexion. It is also effective in preventing aging-related memory loss.

Vitamin E has been used to prevent degenerative changes in diabetes, to treat permanent abortions, to strengthen athletes, to correct male infertility, to control prostate enlargement, to prevent cataracts, and to treat some skin diseases.

Vitamini B3

Niacin, Nicotinic acid or Vitamin B3 is a water-soluble vitamin. It is an essential vitamin required for energy metabolism, nucleic acid, protein, fat and carbohydrate metabolism in cells.

Niacin (B3) regulates blood circulation, provides a healthy skin and helps the central nervous system to work. Because it controls the advanced functions of the brain and memory, it plays a therapeutic role in schizophrenia and other mental illnesses. Finally, adequate B3 levels play a vital role in the synthesis of insulin and sex hormones such as estrogen, progesterone and testosterone.

Vitamini B5

Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) It is a water-soluble vitamin that cannot be stored in the body. It is necessary for carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism. In its deficiency, symptoms such as skin wounds, hair loss, nervous system disorders can be seen.

Vitamini B6

Pyridoxine, also known as vitamin B6, is first of all a coenzyme to about 60 enzymes in protein metabolisms. This makes it vitally important. It takes part in amino acid conversions, nucleic acid synthesis, and absorption of amino acids from the small intestine into the blood. It is necessary for neurotransmitters such as acetylcholine, GABA, serotonin. It has a positive effect on the body’s B12 absorption. In addition, it has a positive effect on the functions of many minerals such as magnesium and zinc in the body. It is involved in the synthesis of hemoglobin. It is involved in tryptophan metabolism. As can be seen, pyridoxine is essential for many important reactions of the body. Its contribution to hormonal balance and neurological structure cannot be underestimated.

Vitamini B12

Vitamin B12 or cobalamin is a water-soluble vitamin used in metabolic processes. Vitamin B12 acts as a coenzyme as a hydrogen acceptor and carries out various metabolic activities. One of its most important functions is to act as a coenzyme in gene duplication. It is also necessary for protein synthesis, prevention of anemia, carbohydrate and fat metabolism.

Biotin (Vitamini B7)

Biotin is a vitamin that is also called vitamin H and vitamin B7 in the literature and is often called “beauty vitamin” in current news.

Coenzyme in fat, protein and carbohydrate metabolism. It also contributes to cell development and helps to keep the blood sugar level at an average level. In addition to being very important for bone marrow, it is also necessary for healthy nerve tissues. The biggest reason why biotin has recently been called the “beauty vitamin” is its positive effect on hair and nails. Today, because of this feature, biotin is found in many cosmetic products.

Zinc

Zinc is a very useful mineral for human health. It affects more than 300 enzymes that govern metabolism, digestion, and the nervous system. It strengthens the immune system. It is necessary for skin health, DNA synthesis and protein production. Zinc deficiency causes short stature, problems with sense of taste and smell. Since the human body cannot store zinc, the required amount must be taken regularly. Adults need an average of 8 to 11 mg per day to maintain zinc levels.

Selenium

Selenium is a very important mineral that is necessary for the healthy functioning of the immune system, DNA functions and the thyroid gland. It helps prevent premature aging by acting as an antioxidant in body metabolism. It is involved in processes such as heart health, reproduction, mental health, fighting infection and inflammation. Selenium, which is an active mineral in hair and nail health, can act together with vitamin E or replace this vitamin. Selenium deficiency can weaken the immune system, leading to the development of chronic diseases such as cancer.

Glutathione

Glutathione or GSH is an antioxidant that protects cells from the toxic effects of reactive oxygen species such as free radicals, peroxides, and heavy metals.

Glutathione is essential for the healthy functioning of mitochondria and provides glutamine support to other cells. It has an inhibitory effect on the muscles. Therefore, it can be taken as an external supplement for muscle repair and reduction of muscle pain. It is especially preferred by athletes.

Coenzyme Q10

Coenzyme Q10 is a beneficial vitamin-like compound that the body naturally produces. It is used for cell growth, protection from damage and energy production. However, it is recommended to be taken as an additional supplement as its production decreases as it ages. It also acts as an antioxidant and protects the immune system. It also reduces oxidative stress that leads to skin damage, brain and lung diseases. It prevents the development of many diseases such as heart diseases, cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer’s and hypertension.

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA)

Alpha Lipoic Acid is an antioxidant. Antioxidants are nutrients that prevent the natural deterioration of cells. Benefits of Alpha Lipoic Acid; It promotes normal thyroid hormone levels. Supports healthy nerves. Supports normal heart health. Protects muscles from exercise-induced stress. Supports the liver. It promotes a strong brain and a sharp memory. It promotes healthy skin. Promotes graceful aging. It maintains healthy blood sugar levels. Supports a healthy body weight.
